Watch Scarlett Johansson get slimed by husband Colin Jost

Scarlett Johansson thought she was safe.

She thought.

Johansson was accepting the MTV Movie & TV Awards's Generation Award from the comfort of her own home Sunday night when her husband Colin Jost walked into the room and doused her in green slime.

"What the f—k?!" Johansson said.

"MTV!" Jost explained. "You got slimed!"

"That's Nickelodeon!" she responded.

The bit was flawlessly executed, which was a predictable outcome because it involved a two-time Oscar-nominated actress and Saturday Night Live's resident "Weekend Update" anchor.

Before the slime interruption, Johansson was teasing a clip from Black Widow. Johansson has portrayed the titular character in eight Marvel films since 2010's Iron Man 2. Black Widow, due July 9, focuses on Natasha Romanoff's origin story.

Johansson and Jost got married last October after first being romantically linked in 2017.
