Sports fans who are on the hunt to cut the cord, Fubo is one of the best sports streaming service options available for you this year. Fubo was created to be a streaming service dedicated primarily to sports, specifically soccer. Since then it's expanded its offerings to include almost every sport, on top of a plethora of content, including kids' programming, news, comedy, drama, music and so much more. The platform has remained committed to providing some of the most comprehensive sports coverage in the streaming space, from the South American soccer leagues to the NBA league pass and more.

If you're someone that's into binging shows on-demand, this might not be your best option. Unlike other services like Hulu, Fubo doesn’t have a robust on-demand catalog with complete seasons of all of your favorite series. Its channel list is also lacking TBS or TNT, two channels that give other services an advantage during March Madness. However, Fubo does include local channels and RSNs in most areas, unlike SlingTV.

Ultimately, the live TV streaming service you choose will all come down to your viewing interests. To help in your decision-making process, we've highlighted the complete Fubo channel list below.

  • Pricing begins at $79.99/mo

How much does Fubo cost?

The Pro plan is Fubo's most affordable option, serving up more than 169 channels and over 100 sporting events for $79.99 monthly. Fubo's Elite plan costs $89.99 per month and includes all of the Pro plan's perks and access to dozens of other channels from the Fubo Extra and News Plus add-ons. Elite plan subscribers can enjoy viewing across 244 channels and 130-plus live events. Premier subscribers unlock new channels from SHOWTIME live and on-demand, for a total of 288 channels at $109.99 per month. Lastly, for $32.99 a month, the Latino plan provides 57-plus channels.

For a more customized experience, Fubo offers a myriad of add-ons, including Sports Plus with NFL RedZone, NBA League Pass, and a handful of foreign language content. Premium add-ons include STARZ ($9.99 per month), SHOWTIME ($10.99) and MGM Plus ($5.99). Or, subscribers can bundle the three for $19.99 per month.

Fubo is pricier than most livestreaming services. For comparison, Sling TV offers 31-plus channels for $40 monthly, and Hulu + Live TV has over 90 channels for $75.99 per month. However, Fubo's robust channel list, comprehensive sports programming and a slew of add-on options provide undeniable value for the cost.

Fubo channel lineup: A breakdown by plan

Whether you're a sports fan or an entertainment junkie, Fubo has something for you. In addition to national and international sports networks, the livestreaming service also features popular entertainment channels, regional sports networks and local channels. Here is a rundown of all the channels available on Fubo. (Note that you’ll want to enter your zip code on the Fubo homepage to get a list of channels specific to your area.)

Fubo sports channels

Fubo's channel lineup has more sports channels than any other service. The NFL Network, Golf Channel, Big Ten Network, CBS Sports Network, ESPN, ESPN2, and beIN SPORTS are all included in Fubo's Pro package. The Elite and Premier plans give subscribers even more coverage from the MLB Network, ESPNUESPNews, NBA TV, NHL Network, Pac-12 Network, Pac-12 Mountain (regional network) and Zona Futbol. You won't miss major live events like the NBA Finals, the Super Bowl, the World Series, the College Football Playoff or the World Cup.

International football fans are still top of mind at Fubo. The International Sports Plus add-on is all about the beautiful game with a channel lineup including Fubo Latino Network, FOX Deportes, Zona Futbol, ESPN HD Deportes, GOLTV English, GOLTV Spanish, TyC Sports, Fubo Sports Network 2 and Fox Soccer Plus.

Compared to other streaming services like Hulu + Live TV or YouTube TV, Fubo stands out in its dedication to sports programming. While competitors offer a broad mix of entertainment and news channels alongside sports, Fubo has made a name for itself by prioritizing sports. However, it's worth noting that TBS and TNT, two major networks for basketball content, are not available on Fubo, which is a limitation. Despite this, the diversity and quantity of its sports offerings make Fubo a strong contender in the streaming world for sports aficionados.

Fubo local channels

The four major broadcast networks ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC are among the local channel offered on Fubo, along with smaller local networks including the CW and the Spanish-language networks Telemundo, UniMas and Univision. Local ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, Telemundo, UniMas, and Univision networks are available on Fubo, depending on the viewer’s location and plan. You can view your local channels in the designated market area (DMA) on Fubo’s website.

Fubo’s Regional Sports Networks (RSNs)

Regional Sports Networks (RSNs) are channels that air sports programming specific to your area. Fubo carries Bally Sports Regional Networks, AT&T SportsNet, Marquee Sports Network, MSG, NBC Sports, NESN, SNY, and more. RSNs are a great addition to Fubo packages, but the streamer does charge an additional $11 to $14 per month, depending on how many are available in the customer's area. Here is the full list of Fubo’s RSNs.

How does Fubo’s channel list compare to other streaming services?

Service Monthly Cost
Channels
Free Trial
Fubo
$79.99+ 169+ Yes
DIRECTV STREAM
$79.99+ 75+ Yes
Hulu + Live TV
$76.99+ 90+ No
Sling TV
$40+ 31+ No
YouTube TV
$72.99 100+ Yes

Fubo is one of the more expensive streaming services on the market, but it does offer a substantial channel list. The platform boasts nearly twice the number of channels as Hulu + Live TV’s standard lineup for about a two-dollar difference in price. However, Hulu + Live TV is known for its well-curated on-demand library. Hulu also has TNT and TBS, two major channels Fubo doesn’t offer. Sling TV may be one of the most affordable streamers, but it has far fewer channels and a lack of local networks. YouTube TV’s sports content is formidable and is strengthened by the acquisition of the lucrative NFL Sunday Ticket.

Final Take: Is the Fubo channel list worth it?

Those touting the benefits of cord-cutting typically justify their stance with one major point: cost. The Fubo base plan starts out at $74.99 for more than 169 channels. With a couple of add-ons to customize your viewing experience, the total really starts to add up.

On the plus side, if you’re a sports fan, it’s worth it. There are no fewer than 40 sports channels in each English language plan. And if you’re still not satisfied with your sports consumption, there are add-ons to bolster the packages accordingly. One of the major drawbacks is definitely the absence of TNT, TBS, and HBO. The Turner networks are especially important during both college and professional basketball seasons. And that might be tough for an NBA or March Madness fan to accept.
