After making it to the playoffs in 2023, the Washington Mystics had a tough time in the 2024 WNBA season, their second under head coach Eric Thibault. They’re currently at the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings. There are some bright spots, however. The team picked up UConn forward Aaliyah Edwards in the 2024 draft, and the rookie currently leads the team in rebounds per game, while guard Ariel Atkins has taken over as the Mystics' top scorer.
If you want to tune in for every Washington Mystics game this season, there are multiple channels you'll need. In-market games are broadcast on Monumental Sports Network, while nationally broadcast games are split across different channels throughout the season. This guide will help you figure out how to watch the Mystics whether you live in the D.C. area or are a fan somewhere else in the country. We'll run through your live TV streaming service options as well as the benefits of WNBA League Pass.
The majority of Washington Mystics games will air and stream on the Monumental Sports Network if you live in the D.C. area. To watch nationally broadcast games, you will need access to the channels CBS Sports Network, ESPN, ESPN 3, NBA TV and ION, as well as a Prime Video subscription. The chart below will help you see which services give you the channels you need to watch the Mystics.

DIRECTV STREAM is one of the most robust options to watch the Mystics and it carries most of the necessary channels if you're willing to shell out for the Ultimate Package, which includes CBS Sports Network. However, that price tag gets you over 160 channels including, ESPN, NBA TV and ion.
The Ultimate Package will also get you FS2, FX Movies, Magnolia Network and more that don't come with the lower-tier Choice or Entertainment Package plans. You could also go for a lower-tier plan and add the sports pack, which includes CBS Sports Network and NBA TV.
DIRECTV STREAM also has Monumental Sports Network, which is the regional sports network for the D.C. area that allows local fans to watch the team's broadcast games and get exclusive behind-the-scenes content. Each of DIRECTV STREAM's plans comes with simultaneous streaming on unlimited devices at home and unlimited Cloud DVR storage.
Fubo no longer carries Monumental Sports Network, so it may not be the best service for D.C.-area viewers, but it does offer a lot for out-of-state Mystics fans who want to catch the nationally broadcast games. Fubo carries CBS Sports Network, ION and ESPN with every plan, and you can get NBA TV with either an upgrade to an Elite plan or an add-on (for an additional monthly fee). The add-ons with NBA TV include Fubo Extra, Sports Lite and Sports Plus with NFL RedZone.
All Fubo plans come with unlimited Cloud DVR storage and the ability to watch on up to 10 screens at home.
The Hulu + Live TV option could be great for local Mystics fans who also need a plan that will entertain the entire family. Hulu + Live TV carries the Monumental Sports Network in the D.C. area, which will allow you to watch the vast majority of in-market games. Hulu + Live TV also has ESPN and CBS Sports Network for some of the nationally broadcast games, but is missing ESPN3, NBA TV and ion.
The great thing about Hulu + Live TV is that you can easily bundle it with a Disney Plus and ESPN Plus subscription, which gives you great entertainment options and more sports games, coverage and analysis for your money. While you can subscribe to Hulu + Live TV alone, you can add Disney Plus and ESPN Plus with ads for only $1 more per month. Each plan also comes with unlimited DVR storage and the ability to create up to six profiles on your account.
Sling TV is one of the most economical services on the market for watching ESPN, ESPN 2 and ESPN 3. You can also get NBA TV when you add the Sports Extra add-on. Sling TV plans will also get you 50 hours of DVR storage and the ability to stream on up to four streams if you get the Sling Orange & Blue plan (three devices stream Sling Blue and an additional device on Sling Orange).
The downside to Sling is that it is missing CBS Sports Network and ION. It also does not carry Monumental Sports Network for local Mystics fans.
YouTube TV is another great option for both in-market and out-of-market Washington Mystics fans. The service has Monumental Sports Network for fans in the coverage area to watch locally broadcast games. It also carries CBS, CBS Sports Network, ESPN, NBA TV and ION. The service does have ESPNEWS, the GOLF Channel, NBC Sports Network, NFL Network and more for your other sports-watching needs.
YouTube TV allows up to six individual accounts, unlimited DVR space and the ability to stream on three simultaneous screens, so your household can spread out and watch what they want on their own time.
If you are an out-of-market fan, you may want to consider a WNBA League Pass subscription or League Pass Premium. WNBA League Pass lets you watch any out-of-market game live or on-demand. Local D.C. fans can also watch Mystics games on WNBA League Pass, but only on-demand after the game has aired on local broadcast channels.
What channel Mystics games airs on is going to vary by your physical location. The majority of Mystics games will air on the Monumental Sports Network in the Washington, D.C. area. Nationally broadcast games will air on CBS Sports Network, ion, ESPN, ESPN3, NBA TV and Prime Video.
WNBA League Pass subscriptions start at $14.99 per month. You can also pay $22 per month for a Premium subscription.
Check your local listings for which WNBA games are playing in your market. Various games are nationally broadcast on ABC, ESPN, ESPN 2, CBS Sports Network, ION and NBA TV, and stream on Prime Video.
