Vidgo is a sports-focused streamer that appeals to sports fans and others who want a broad channel selection at a reasonable price. As one of the newer live TV streaming services on the market, Vidgo once offered a seven-day free trial to new subscribers. However, this Vidgo free trial is no longer available. Whether you’re a new or returning subscriber, you’ll have to pay for a full month to try out the service.

Read on to find out if it’s worth it, even without the Vidgo TV free trial.

What can I watch with my Vidgo free trial?

Although there’s no longer a Vidgo TV free trial, you can still try out the full service with a monthly subscription and no long-term commitment. Depending on which plan you choose, you’ll have access to anywhere from 100–160 channels and 14,000 on-demand titles.

How to sign up for Vidgo’s free trial

Although there’s not currently an option to try Vidgo for free, you can sign up for a one-month Vidgo trial and pay full price to explore everything the service has to offer. As long as you cancel before the first month ends, you won’t be charged twice. To sign up, follow these simple steps:

  1. Visit Vidgo’s home page and select your preferred plan. Prices range from $39.99 to $99.99.
  2. Enter your name, email address, phone number and billing address.
  3. Select a password.
  4. Enter your credit card information.
  5. Agree to the terms, Click “Submit” and start streaming.

How does Vidgo’s free trial compare to others?

Vidgo’s lack of a free trial isn’t uncommon among live TV streaming services. Hulu + Live TV and Sling TV no longer offer free trials, either. However, it does put Vidgo at a disadvantage compared to streaming platforms like DIRECTV STREAM, FuboTV and YouTube TV, all of which offer free trials of between five and 14 days. Cord-cutters who want a chance to try before they buy will likely veer toward those competitors over Vidgo.

How to subscribe to Vidgo once my free trial expires

Since there’s no Vidgo free trial, you’ll have to pay for your plan immediately, and you’ll be charged automatically every month. That means you’ll have to decide which price point is right for you from the get-go.

Vidgo offers three main plans with a mix of English and Spanish programming. Prices range from $69.99 to $99.99 per month, and you’ll get anywhere from 100 to 160 channels, including more than 20 sports networks. This includes popular channels like A&E, ABC, BET, CMT, Comedy Central, Disney Channel, ESPN, Fox, FS1, MTV, NFL Network, SEC Network, VH1 and more. Spanish-speaking viewers can opt for Vidgo’s all-Spanish plan, Vidgo Mas, which features more than 45 channels of Spanish-language sports and entertainment for $39.99 a month.

Whichever plan you choose, you’ll get full access to Vidgo’s library of 14,000-plus titles, which features popular and classic shows and movies like “Yellowstone,” “Independence Day” and “Venom.” All plans also include 20 hours of DVR and allow you to stream on three devices at once.

How to cancel Vidgo

It’s relatively easy to cancel your Vidgo subscription. Simply access your account from a web browser, select “Cancel subscription” and follow the prompts. Once you complete the process, you’ll have access to your account until the end of the current billing cycle.

Is Vidgo’s free trial worth it?

Many cord-cutters may be disappointed that Vidgo no longer offers a free trial. The Vidgo free trial offered a great way to test out the service without spending a dime, so it’s unfortunate the company is no longer offering this deal. The good news is that Vidgo continues to expand its content offerings and features, so there’s a lot to enjoy here. Even if you have to sign up for a month, you can find plenty to make it worth it, especially if you like live sports.
