Drive to Survive star Guenther Steiner claims Max Verstappen might be ‘happy’ after losing Miami GP to Lando Norris

Moreover, the Drive to Survive star insisted that perhaps Verstappen was happy that he didn’t win the exciting race. As this would allow Red Bull to claim that they had a poor car in Miami. Although, it must be noted that Max Verstappen’s RB20 chassis suffered damage early on in the race which hampered his pace.

Red Bull seemed to have struggled at the Miami GP compared to previous weekends. Sergio Perez almost crashed into Max Verstappen at the race start. Moreover, the American race marked the second weekend this season when Milton Keynes had failed to clinch victory.

Guenther Steiner asserted that the Austrian team did have a difficult outing in Miami with several complaints. However, the Italian-American highlighted that Red Bull still managed to win the sprint race and take pole position. Subsequently, Steiner claimed that many teams in the paddock would not mind having Milton Keynes’ problems.

Red Bull had problems here, everyone complained a bit. But you also have to say that they won two qualifying sessions and the sprint, I think there are many teams here who would like to have these problems. Guenther Steiner asserted

Certainly, Red Bull would be looking to bounce back at the Emilia Romagna GP. The Austrian team has planned an upgrade package which could bring in drastic improvements to the RB20. However, it remains to be seen if Max Verstappen can once again stand on the top step of the podium in the coming race.
