Lewis Hamilton is not having an easy time at Scuderia Ferrari. The seven-time world champion hoped to rediscover his mojo at the Italian team. Unfortunately, Hamilton seems to be a shadow of his past self, consistently falling behind teammate Charles Leclerc. After his first race at Monza as a Ferrari driver, the F1 legend has opened up on his struggles.

Since the start of the season, Lewis Hamilton has been struggling to perform. The 40-year-old has failed to adapt to his new team and its car. Moreover, this is the first time Hamilton is yet to even clinch a podium finish during a season in his career. Though, he did win the Sprint in China.

The Italian GP saw some gains from Lewis Hamilton. The British driver had a better outing and finished in P6 after starting from tenth place. Though, the F1 star admitted that a podium was far beyond reach.

Now, Lewis Hamilton claimed that the entire campaign had been nothing short of an emotional rollercoaster. The seven-time world champion admitted that the situation was far more volatile than he could’ve prepared for. Nevertheless, Hamilton reckoned that stressing about the future only brings more pain to the present. Thus, he was trying not to worry too much about what could happen the next day.

It’s been an emotional roller coaster. Did I expect it to be as volatile in terms of feeling? No. But that’s life. I read something recently saying there’s no point stressing about tomorrow because it often puts shade on the present. So I’m really trying not to worry about tomorrow.
