McLaren has debuted what is thought to be its 2025 race suits, designed with a distinctive "Stealth Mode Activated" theme.
This fresh look was presented by the team with a photo on social media of Lando Norris sporting the predominantly black design, accented by minimal pops of color. The suit features the iconic Papaya orange McLaren logo, as well as subtle elements like Lando Norris’s initials and race number. Looking closer, the design also features a mixture of gloss and matte black.
What is currently unclear is how the race suits could change with the addition of the teams sponsors.
McLaren achieved a huge milestone by clinching the 2024 Constructors' Championship, their first in 26 years, a feat that has created momentum for the upcoming season. This success was propelled by their strong driving duo Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, both of whom played vital roles under the guidance of team principal Andrea Stella, who took over in 2023.

As McLaren steps into 2025, the team has made bold decisions with the design of their latest model, the MCL39. As described by CEO Zak Brown, the car's design is considered a "brave risk."
The black race suits have fueled speculation amongst fans that the team could unveil an all-black livery at the F1 75 event next week. One fan commented:
"Please tell me the livery actually has some colour and isn't just black with 1 or 2 orange stripes."
