McLaren reveals a vibrant one-off livery for the Monaco Grand Prix as a tribute to one of the legends of F1, Ayrton Senna . The livery gleams with wraps of yellow, green, and blue, which are inspired by the helmet worn by Ayrton Senna back in the day.

The livery is a collaboration with Senna Global and McLaren’s partner OKX and is named ‘McLaren Senna’ as a tribute to the 30th anniversary of the Brazlian’s passing. Ayrton Senna is McLaren’s most successful driver, having amassed 35 out of his 41 wins at McLaren, during which he secured three drivers’ championship titles.

The livery is designed in memory of Senna’s incredible racing legacy.

The team is proud to recognize and celebrate the extraordinary life and racing legacy of Ayrton Senna through this McLaren livery. Senna remains revered and respected as Formula 1’s greatest icon, and McLaren’s most decorated driver.  said McLaren CEO Zak Brown.

McLaren will also dawn special kits along with the Senna livery aside from their usual iconic ‘papaya’ color scheme of orange and black. This will not be the first time McLaren has chosen a special livery for Monaco. In 2021, they brought the iconic blue and orange colors of then-partner Gulf Oil back to F1, with Norris finishing on the podium in that race.

Oscar Piastri is ‘excited for the future’ after heroics of Imola GP

Oscar Piastri finished P4 at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix and is hopeful for the races coming ahead. The Australian put in a stunning performance even after being hit with a 3-place grid penalty for impeding Kevin Magnussen during Imola quali.

Here we’ve been pretty good at it in the past and we were very strong again, so I think we can be pretty confident wherever we go that we’ll be somewhere towards the front. We’ll see if Red Bull find a bit more pace again, but [I’m] very excited for the future. Oscar Piastri said in his post race interview

McLaren has been on stellar form this season, with both the drivers, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, putting in tireless performances. They have combined to score a total of four podiums, along with a race win at the Miami Grand Prix.

As we approach the iconic Monaco Grand Prix, McLaren will be looking to convert their fine form into a race win again. Moreover, it would be fitting for their new Senna livery around the gleaming Circuit of Monte Carlo.
