A 16-year-old motocross star was killed in an accident during a race over the weekend.
Aidan Zingg sustained fatal injuries after he crashed while competing in the 2025 Mammoth Motocross event in Mammoth Lakes, Calif., on Saturday, according to motocross outlet DirtbikeLover.
Zingg reportedly crashed and was run over by multiple other dirt bikes.
Zingg was viewed as one of the most talented amateurs in motocross. He had recently signed with Kawasaki’s Team Green program.
Zingg also recently qualified for his seventh straight AMA Amateur Motocross National Championship, which will be held at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tenn., next month.
