It’s December 20th, otherwise known as Early National Signing day on this year’s version of the always hectic College Football calendar. The overwhelming majority of Georgia’s 2024 signing class will be solidified in hard writing today. With 19 signees already enrolled.
Punter Drew Miller is the latest to sign his LOI and an exceptional punter, given the 5-star rank by Kohl’s Kicking Camp and rated as the second-best punter in the nation. Miller has a consistent boot, averaging at right around 4.8 seconds of hang time, with an average of about 50 yards per punt during his senior year at Mediapolis H.S. in Iowa.
Miller was also a good quarterback for Mediapolis, helping lead them to an 8-3 overall record and playoff berth in the 2A bracket of Iowa H.S. football, leading them all the way to the quarterfinals before eventually being eliminated.
Miller is one of the few 2024 commits not expected to join the rest of his class on campus early as he finishes out his final classes at Mediapolis. The Dawgs will be back in action on Dec. 30 when they face the No. 5 Florida State Seminoles at 4 p.m. to decide the winner of the Orange Bowl.
