The 2024 Virginia football schedule has arrived.

The Atlantic Coast Conference unveiled the 2024 ACC football composite schedule on Wednesday, giving us the complete picture of the 2024 UVA football schedule.

2024 will see the expansion of the conference to have 17 football members, with SMU, Stanford, and Cal joining the ranks of the ACC this fall. Virginia won't face Stanford or Cal this season, but the Cavaliers will host SMU in their final home game on Saturday, November 23rd in Charlottesville.

Virginia has ACC home games against Boston College, Louisville, North Carolina, and SMU and the Cavaliers will play at Wake Forest, Clemson, Pittsburgh, and Virginia Tech in the regular season finale.

In non-conference play, Virginia will host Richmond in the season-opener on Saturday, August 31st and Maryland on Saturday, September 14th. UVA will play at Coastal Carolina on Saturday, September 21st in Conway, South Carolina and will visit Notre Dame on Saturday, November 16th.

In a somewhat unusual overall scheduling note, Virginia has no games on Thursday or Friday this season after having three such non-Saturday games in 2023. Additionally, the Cavaliers will have two bye weeks this season (Sept. 28 and Nov. 2), as will every college football team due to the season starting slightly earlier than usual, leaving 14 Saturdays between week 1 and the week of Thanksgiving when the regular season concludes.
