2025 NBA Draft Prospect Tournament Performances: Sweet Sixteen

Cooper Flagg continues to show why he is the unanimous number-one prospect in the 2025 Draft, scoring 30 points in the game. Although Arizona fought hard to stay competitive, Duke maintained their lead throughout. While Khaman Maluach's stats may not stand out in the box score, he has been consistently reliable in every game. As each game passes, Duke increasingly looks like the favorite to win the NCAA Championship.

Jase Richardson Bounced Back

After missing all of his three-point attempts in the second round, Jase Richardson rebounded with a strong performance against Ole Miss, leading Michigan State to the Elite Eight. It was not an easy victory for the Spartans, as they trailed throughout the entire first half. Games like this can keep NBA scouts interested in the guard as the draft approaches.

Demin and Queen Don't Go Down Without a Fight

Egor Demin and Derik Queen demonstrated their skill sets effectively in the tournament while competing for the championship; however, both fell short against the latter. After nearly achieving a triple-double in the previous matchup, Demin struggled, hitting only one of eight attempts from the three-point line. He was simply outplayed by Alabama’s Mark Sears, who scored 34 points.

Derik Queen may have also lost, but he did not disappoint. Queen reached the free-throw line 10 times and took on all the scoring responsibilities. He proved he is a lottery pick for the upcoming draft, while Demin left scouts with more questions than answers.
