49ers RB Christian McCaffrey's mom shares hilarious Jimmy Garoppolo story

Christian McCaffrey's mom, Lisa, might be a bigger star than her Super Bowl-bound and San Francisco 49ers running back son.

Even Jimmy Garoppolo knows who she is.

If you don't already know, Lisa co-hosts a podcast called, "Your Mom," alongside her friend Ashley Adamson, and it's hilarious.

In last week's episode, Mrs. McCaffrey explained how she is "boycotting" Taylor Swift during Super Bowl week, for her son of course.

And on the podcast this week, she recalled her first time meeting Garoppolo and how starstruck she was.

But what woman with eyes and good taste wouldn't be?

Ed McCaffrey Has Some Competition

The best part was that Christian's dad, Ed McCaffrey, was right next to his wife and very respectfully listened to her fangirl over Jimmy G.

"Oh my gosh. I was literally starstruck," Mama McCaffrey said. "Elevator doors open and it's Jimmy G. standing in the elevator. I swear to god. I was going to grab something out of the room and he was coming down. (And Ed, go away.) And he lifts his hand and goes 'Oh, hi Mrs. McCaffrey. I've been dying to meet you.' He knew that I was Mrs. McCaffrey. And I was like a schoolgirl. I didn't know what to say."

Mrs. McCaffrey said she rambled about Garoppolo's foot injury and how he would heal up since her husband went through the same thing.

"He's so nice," she continued. "His parents did something right. He's so sweet."

Ed also made a comment about how the Niners should re-sign him one day and Lisa joked that he should go to Denver to be closer to her.

Mrs. McCaffrey's facial expressions the entire time talking about Garropolo were gold.
