4-Star LB Luke Metz signs with Crimson Tide

Luke Metz made things official on Wednesday by signing with the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Metz hails from Hoschton, Georgia and played for Mill Creek High School. He is regarded as a four-star prospect.

The Georgia native will likely be asked to play inside linebacker once he arrives in Tuscaloosa. Metz is listed at 6-foot-3 and 220 pounds. He will likely be asked to put on some additional weight once he arrives on campus. Metz is good at diagnosing the run and plays with great instincts. He is a hard-hitter and could see early playing time in Tuscaloosa next season with several linebackers expected to turn pro.
