An Amazon Original, this anime series is exclusive to Prime Video. It’s set during the Edo period and follows a so-called immortal man, Manji, the Slayer of Hundreds. He’s recruited as a bodyguard by a young girl called Rin, who’s on a quest to avenge the death of her parents. Together, the two strike up an unlikely bond as they team up to hunt down powerful swordmasters.

It sees Lord Daigo Kagemitsu make a pact with demons to ensure the prosperity of his lands - in return for his unborn son. As a result, his child is born malformed and sent down a river.
