The Friday, May 24 episode of AEW Rampage averaged 222,000 viewers on TNT, the lowest number in the history of the show. It’s down 43.2 percent from the previous week when Rampage aired on Saturday following Collision. Though Rampage was back to its normal day on Friday, it still aired outside of its normal time slot. Due to TNT’s NBA coverage, the episode began at 6 p.m. Eastern time. Still, Rampage has aired at this time and even earlier when pre-empted before. The previous low was November 25 of last year when Rampage averaged 264,000 viewers, airing at the same time but on the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend. In the 18-49 demo, Rampage drew a 0.08 rating, down 38.5 percent from last week. That’s tied for the third-lowest rating Rampage has ever done in that category. As compared to the same week in 2023, when the show aired in its regular time slot, Rampage’s overall viewership was down 49.1 percent while the 18-49 rating was down 27.3 percent.
