A’Ja Wilson is no stranger to fashion. The Las Vegas Aces’ superstar recently rocked a new look with her braided hairstyle on social media. It turns out that Wilson had a makeover for a promotion. She also launched her signature shoe, A’ja One, by Nike.  

Wilson has been busy with the “A’ja One Tour” promoting her signature line. During one such event at her hometown in Columbia, South Carolina, she was seen showing her beautifully braided appearance. The three-time WNBA star took the internet by storm with a series of images on her Instagram stories.

Here’s a look at some stunning images of Wilson with her new look.

A’ja Wilson has crossed a new milestone with her signature line. She became the 14th female basketball player to get a signature pair of sneakers. Wilson’s signature line will be out in a “Pink Aura” color. While initially, there will be only one color at the launch, more colors are expected to flow in later.

Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark are also expected to join Wilson in the future for their signature line.

A’ja Wilson Reveals How She Overcame Dyslexia

The WNBA star has been close to Dawn Staley since she met her at a basketball camp. The duo has a long-standing relationship, and she recently revealed how Staley helped her overcome Dyslexia. Staley stood beside Wilson in one of her most difficult moments.

Wilson mentioned that she had struggles in reciting pregame scripture. Staley was the one who stepped up and helped her cope with the situation.

“I don’t know what exactly made everything different after that. I’m serious when I say that everything changed after that reading started,” A’Ja Wilson said.

“It was definitely humiliating at first, but I kept at it. Just straight brute force every time she asked. I don’t know if she thought it would help, or if it would make me play better, or what. But after a while, it really would make me feel better. It was like I could suddenly talk with people about this secret that had been eating at me for years,” A’ja continued.

Wilson has great respect for Dawn Staley. She also mentioned that Staley has evolved as a mother figure to her. The WNBA star said that coach Staley was like her second mom. A’ja Wilson and Staley continue to have a strong relationship. Wilson is keen on carrying her team forward in the upcoming season.
