Alabama football’s five-star commit, Jireh Edwards and the St. Frances Academy Panthers will play live on ESPN on Saturday.
The Panthers will take on Chaminade-Madonna. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CST, and the game will be broadcast live on ESPN2.
Edwards committed to the Crimson Tide in July and is no longer considering any other schools. He has shut down his recruitment and is completely locked in with the Tide.
At 6-foot-2 and 194 pounds, the five-star is a physical safety, who can make plays while lining up at different spots within St. Frances’ defense. He appears to be able to make plays at all three levels on the defensive side of the football as he excels at making tackles close to the line of scrimmage while lining up in the box to go along with his ability to make plays in coverage.
