The Alabama Crimson Tide football program is in the middle of hosting a huge recruiting weekend to kick off the spring break weekend. New Crimson Tide general manager Courtney Morgan declared that over 70 prospective recruits were in town to check out the football program and meet the new staff.

The weekend is already off to a successful start as the Crimson Tide secured a commitment from Zymear Smith according to On3 Sports.

Smith isn't registered with 247 Sports, but he's considered a 4-star prospect by On3, Rivals and ESPN. The running back out of North Caroline High School in Denton, MD is listed at 6-foot, 170-pounds.

On3 considers Smith the No. 25 overall athlete and the No. 7 player in the state of Maryland in the Class of 2025.
