Alabama football became an instant contender for Karlos May when the Crimson Tide recently extended an offer to him.

May is a product of Ramsay High School in Birmingham, Alabama, and he is a member of the 2027 recruiting class. His recruitment continues to grow with offers from some of the most prestigious college football programs in the country with offers from Alabama, Georgia, Notre Dame and Ohio State.

The Crimson Tide jumped in on his recruitment late last month, and it marked a significant moment in May’s recruitment.

“This offer means a lot to me, knowing I’m from Birmingham, Alabama,” May told Touchdown Alabama. “Tuscaloosa is nothing but about 45 minutes away, so knowing I’ll be close to home stands out to me and also knowing that this is a powerhouse, one of the best schools in the country. It definitely means a lot to receive an offer from Alabama.”

At 6-foot-4 and 300 pounds, May is a strong disruptor in the trenches for Ramsay High School. He plays with the type of power the Crimson Tide would love to have at its nose tackle position within Kane Wommack’s 4-2-5 Swarm Defense.

May is a prospect to watch very closely when it comes to Alabama recruiting underclassmen prospects.
