Alabama football visits Nation’s No. 1 CB

Alabama football paid a visit to John Meredith III this week.

Meredith is a 2027 five-star cornerback prospect, and he is considered the No. 1 cornerback in the class by multiple recruiting sites. Meredith possesses an impressive offer list with some of the best college football programs in the country after him. Alabama, Texas, Ohio State and Texas A&M are just a few of the programs in pursuit of Meredith.

The Crimson Tide’s defensive backs coach Maurice Linguist made the trip to Texas to visit Meredith.

He also possesses the long frame college football coaches continue to lean towards in the current landscape of college football. His willingness and ability to come downhill and make tackles make it easy to see why he deserves his five-star rating.
