While it is the offseason, Angel Reese is spending her time doing whatever she wants, and that includes bonding with her family. While waiting to play her second WNBA season, she will participate in the “Unrivaled” league in January next year.

Angel Reese is not the only one in the family making her mark in basketball. Her younger brother Julian Reese is also proving his mettle in college basketball, playing for the Maryland Terrapins. The college squad has been excellent in the season so far, capturing wins in all the three games they have played as of late.

The Terrapins played their third game visiting the Florida A&M Rattlers on Tuesday, and they had dominated their opponent on their home turf. In 20 minutes of action, Julian scored 21 points on 8-of-12 field shooting, grabbed nine rebounds, and dished two assists

The proud sister immediately took to social media and shouted out her brother. Angel posted an Instagram story, taking a picture of her brother on TV, captioning it with “GO BBYYYYY BROTHERRRR.”

Following it is another IG story, featuring Julian speaking to a reporter after the game. He talked about how staying focused helped them secure the win against the Rattlers.

Prior to the game against the Rattlers, Julian scored nine points each in his first two games with the Terrapins.

Angel Reese becomes “Billboard Barbie”

Angel Reese was recently featured on a billboard in Times Square. A picture of her wearing her Chicago Sky jersey was put on the billboard with the caption, “Reese’s squad wya??”

On Tuesday, Reese posted the picture of the billboard on her Instagram, excited about her latest personal accomplishment. She captioned the post, “Billboard Barbie.”

Reese has been using the nickname “Barbie” to refer to herself since she was with LSU, where she had the nickname “Bayou Barbie.” When she moved to the WNBA, she updated her nickname to “Chi-Town Barbie.”
