March Madness is in full swing, and while there have been plenty of exciting moments, Monday night has brought a devastating one for USC. Big Ten Player Of The Year and USC's star guard JuJu Watkins went down with a knee injury early in the game against Mississippi State.
The injury seems like a devastating one, although no details are available yet. Fans already think it could be a career-altering injury for Watkins though, and the biggest voices in women's basketball have also joined the outpouring of concern on social media.
Former LSU and current Chicago Sky star Angel Reese posted on X moments after the injury occured, showing her suppport for the WNBA-bound Watkins.
Prayers for Juju!

"Prayers for Juju," Reese wrote, and these simple three words capture the reaction that fans across social media are feeling after the injury.
Angel Reese likely understands what Watkins will be going through, having had her own rookie season in the WNBA ended by injury. Watkins is one of the main stars of March Madness this season too, and having her year end in this manner is tragic, any way one looks at it.
USC are on pace to comfortable win their game against the Bulldogs despite the injury to Watkins, but if it proves to be as serious as it looks, then their March Madness run will be in serious jeopardy.
JuJu Watkins averaged 24.6 points per game in the Big Ten this season, and the hope will be that the injury isn't too serious, as it may end up hurting her draft stock when she moves on to the professional game.
