GLENDALE – The Arizona Cardinals continue to improve its pass rush, selecting Oregon Ducks edge rusher Jordan Burch 78th overall in the 3rd round of the 2025 NFL Draft. After drafting defensive tackle Walter Nolen with its first pick, Arizona went to the edge to get a talented lineman in Burch, who shined in his five-year college career.

What does Burch bring the Cardinals:

In his two seasons at Oregon, Burch recorded 11.5 sacks and 19 tackles for loss and was a force in the trenches. His senior season was easily the best of his five-year collegiate career, tallying 8.5 sacks and 11 tackles for loss, earning All-Big Ten third team.

Burch was the 17th ranked edge in production and athleticism score at the NFL combine. At 6’4 and 279 pounds, Burch has great speed on the edge, running a 4.67 40-yard dash. The Cardinals will incorporate Burch’s size and speed for their pass rush, with Pro Bowlers like Josh Sweat and Calais Campbell.

General manager Monti Ossenfort has made it a point of emphasis to address the front seven this offseason. Ossenfort has done that, spending big money in free agency and spending two of his first three picks addressing the defensive line.
