Atlanta Falcons took a look at another Georgia Bulldogs product ahead of 2025 NFL Draft

The Atlanta Falcons have taken a closer look at least two Georgia Bulldogs products just days before the 2025 NFL Draft.

Star edge Mykel Williams took a trip to Flowery Branch Top-30 pre-draft visit last week, and now it's being reported that tight end Benjamin Yurosek also visited with the Falcons.

While Williams is a projected top 10 pick in this year's draft, Yurosek is deemed a solid Day 2 or Day 3 option.

Yurosek enters the draft after appearing in 14 games in his lone season with the Dawgs, recording 15 receptions for 185 yards, while averaging 12.3 yards per catch and zero touchdowns. His most notable game came against Tennessee, where he hauled in five passes for 51 yards. Yurosek wasn't the star that many had hoped for when he transferred from Stanford, but he still served as a dependable option in the short to intermediate passing game, adding valuable depth to Georgia's tight end group.

Here's what NFL Network's Lance Zierlein had to say about Yurosek.

Yurosek has the body type of a pass-catching tight end but he might have a better chance to make the league as a run blocker. He’s a willing blocker at the point of attack with good short-area movement to stay centered and connected to the block. He lacks base strength, so tenacity will give way to pure power unless he gets stronger in his lower body. His movements in space can be unorthodox and he might not have enough separation quickness to make much of a mark as a pass catcher. Yurosek has an uphill fight on his hands, but a willingness to block gives him a chance.

The Falcons showing interest in Georgia players is always worth talking about because they have only selected 12 Georgia players since becoming a franchise in 1966, and not one of them was picked in the top two rounds.

We'll see if that changed when the 2025 NFL Draft kicks off this upcoming Thursday in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
