Bangladesh Announces Home T20I Series Against Pakistan

Bangladesh has released the schedule for their upcoming home T20I series against Pakistan, set to begin on July 20 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. 

The two sides recently faced each other in Pakistan earlier this month in a three-match T20I series, where Bangladesh was defeated in all three games. The upcoming series will give Bangladesh a chance to respond on home soil.

All matches will be played in familiar sub-continental conditions, offering both teams valuable preparation ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup next year.

Bangladesh is currently touring Sri Lanka, where they are playing two Tests, three One Day Internationals, and three T20Is. The first Test in Galle ended in a draw, and the second Test is currently underway in Colombo. This two-match series also marks the beginning of the new ICC World Test Championship cycle.

The T20I series against Pakistan will provide another opportunity for both teams to fine-tune their squads and build momentum ahead of the global tournament. The series will feature three matches, all scheduled at the same venue.
