Bonnies’ Red-Headed Big Man Goes Viral On Internet

Adrian Wojnarowski, or Woj, had a storied career as an NBA insider, finding bits of information and formulating groundbreaking stories, but his red-headed find as general manager of St. Bonaventure’s basketball program might be one of his best.

Joe Grahovac, a sophomore for the Bonnies, went viral on Wednesday for his big afro, drawing comparisons to various characters.

While Grahovic has a defining look, he also has an incredible story.

Woj signed young Bill Walton’s doppelganger.

He’s 6’10”, can jump out of the gym, make threes, and of course, the hair.

After living in his Toyota Tacoma, working odd jobs for cash, and playing basketball at a 24 Hour Fitness, Grahovic was invited to play in the Drew League, a prestigious pro-am league, where a scout from a junior college in California recruited him to join the team. With connections all over the country, Woj was able to see tape of the big man and attend a game, which forever altered Grahovic’s life.

Now, in his second season of organized basketball, Grahovic is averaging 4.8 PTS, 3.2 REB as the Bonnies are chasing an Atlantic 10 Conference championship.
