If the Bobcats win the Pac-12 opener, they’re in the conference race. Lose it, and it’ll be an uphill battle the rest of the way.
Coming off two straight road games, taking down the Bulldogs before the Washington State game might be a must. If nothing else, it’s a key home game late in the season - it’ll matter.
Where does Texas State fall among the Pac-12 elite? It’ll be a stunner if Boise State isn’t one of the favorites to win the conference, but if the Bobcats can pull it off on the blue turf, look out.
