There are only a couple of targets left on the 2026 recruiting board for Notre Dame, including safety Nick Reddish and defensive lineman Elijah Golden. With such few targets remaining, a lot of the Fighting Irish staff is turning their full attention to the 2027 recruiting class. It’s very early, but there is a ton of talent across that class.
At the running back position, that is especially true. Notre Dame has already offered 11 very talented runners. Ja’Juan Seider has made a huge impact already on the recruiting trail for the program, including landing Javian Osborne and Jonaz Walton for the 2026 class. 2027 is his first full cycle with the Irish, and he has another chance to flex his recruiting muscles.
Of the players on the board right now, there may not be a player more interesting than McKeesport (Pa.) High School standout Kemon Spell, who is currently committed to Penn State. He was previously committed to Coach Seider while he was with the Nittany Lions. That doesn’t mean that Spell ends up flipping to Notre Dame down the road, but that relationship certainly could matter.
Two other talented running backs to know are Chandler (Ariz.) Basha star Noah Roberts and Raleigh (N.C.) Rolesville standout Amir Brown. Both have shown some legitimate interest in the Irish so far. Both are very highly ranked as well.
Arguably the top player on the board is Richmond (Texas) Randle running back Landen Willis-Callis. Despite being only around 5-8 and 185 pounds, he is an outstanding football player. It’s unlikely Notre Dame is about to get him out of the South, but it is still worth a shot.
Here is every 2027 running back recruit that currently holds an offer from Notre Dame.
