Although it was a down year for Alabama football in 2024, the defense did not lack NFL-caliber players. With the 31st pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles selected standout Alabama Crimson Tide linebacker Jihaad Campbell.
On Saturday, the New York Jets went out and secured the services of Malachi Moore with the 130th overall selection. It didn't take long for another NFL franchise to take a player out of Alabama, this time opting for one of the program's premier linebackers.
With the 134th pick, the Denver Broncos selected linebacker Que Robinson, a three-year producer with the Crimson Tide.
Last season, Robinson totaled a career-best seven TFLs with 23 tackles and four sacks. In a 40-35 loss against Vanderbilt, Robinson had three TFLs. He also had a forced fumble and fumble recovery in a two-tackle performance against the Wisconsin Badgers.
He joined Alabama as a four-star recruit in the 2020 class, per 247Sports. Although most of his production came last year, Robinson totaled 31 tackles, four TFLs, two sacks, and a fumble recovery from 2022 to 2023. Robinson is the first Alabama pass rusher drafted since Chris Braswell went with the 57th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Robinson will join an outside linebacker group with the Denver Broncos led by longtime pass rusher Jonathan Cooper. Robinson will likely compete with 2024 third-round pick Jonah Eliss for playing time behind Cooper.
