The Indiana Pacers are headed to the NBA Finals to square off against the Oklahoma City Thunder in search of the first championship in franchise history.
Players like Tyrese Haliburton and Eastern Conference Finals MVP Pascal Siakam are the biggest reasons why, of course, though there is a unique connection between Indiana's playoff success during this 2025 run and Caitlin Clark, the city's star WNBA point guard.
Clark and Haliburton are friends off the court and often show up to Gainbridge Fieldhouse, where both the Pacers and Fever play their home games, to cheer on one another. Clark has been in attendance at several of Indiana's games this postseason -- and every time she is, things seem to go the Pacers' way.

"The Pacers are now 7-0 in the playoffs when Caitlin Clark is in attendance," Polymarket Hoops posted to X on Saturday, May 31.
Indiana is now 6-2 in eight games at home during the postseason, but the Pacers won't have home court advantage against the Thunder in the NBA Finals.
Game 1 of that series will take place in Oklahoma City on Thursday night, June 5. The Thunder ran through the Western Conference with relative ease after a 68-win regular season, besting the Memphis Grizzlies 4-0 in Round 1, the Denver Nuggets 4-3 in Round 2 and the Minnesota Timberwolves 4-1 in Round 3.
Indiana will play its first game in the NBA Finals in 25 years after besting the Milwaukee Bucks 4-1 in Round 1, the Cleveland Cavaliers 4-1 in Round 2 and now Knicks 4-2 in Round 3.
The Pacers also defeated the Knicks in six games back in 2000 the last time they won the Eastern Conference.
