Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark has been a visible supporter of the Indiana Pacers throughout their postseason run, frequently attending games and sharing her reactions to their comeback victories on social media.

Clark shares a close friendship with Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton, with both athletes recently becoming star figures in Indiana basketball.

The two, along with Haliburton’s girlfriend, Jade Jones, and Clark’s boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, communicate regularly through a shared group chat.

McCaffery and Haliburton have their own connection, as McCaffery served as the Pacers’ basketball development coordinator during the 2023-24 season. He recently left the role to become an assistant coach at Butler University.

On Sunday, the Pacers fell to the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 7 of the NBA Finals, 103–91. Adding to the loss, Haliburton exited in the first quarter with a lower leg injury, which was later confirmed to be an Achilles tendon tear.

Following his surgery, Haliburton posted a picture seemingly in good spirits and making a heart with both of his hands in his hospital bed.

McCaffery reposted it with no caption, showing support for his friend.

Although Haliburton and the Pacers squad fell just short of lifting the Larry O'Brien Trophy, they posted one of the most memorable playoff runs in recent history.

As for Clark, the Fever are still well in the midst of the regular season, fighting for a better position within the Eastern Conference ahead of the All-Star break. The WNBA All-Star game is set to take place on July 19 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
