The MLB season is in full swing, and New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara got involved on the diamond this past week. He made some headlines around the league with his first pitch performance, too.
Kamara's first attempt was so bad that he was allowed to redo his first pitch ahead of the game between the Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals. That basically never occurs in baseball.
Cubs pitcher Justin Steele was pretty excited to see the Saints star in his team's jersey, based on his reaction via social media. The Cubs also posted a FaceTime video between Steele and Kamara while the RB was at Wrigley Field. The professional pitcher gave his some tidbits of advice.

Steele is currently rehabbing an injury and hopes to return sooner than later for Chicago. He's a massive piece to their pitching rotation. In case you haven't seen Kamara's first pitch conundrum, check it out below.
It's also worth noting that Kamara was rocking a Cubs jersey. We've never really known his fandom for a baseball team, but that may have been some notable insight into it. Luckily for New Orleans, the Saints won't have to worry about Kamara finding a new job in the big leagues to exit the NFL. -- A to Z Sports
Saints kicker Blake Grupe made sure to get in on the fun from Kamara's comical fail as well. He posted a direct response toward Steele after he saw the clip.
@J_Steele21 what kinda advice you give my man!? https://t.co/bmOTyIn28c

One thing is clear. Kamara has a massive fun in the clubhouse for the Cubs. Chicago is currently leading the NL Central, over the Milwaukee Brewers, St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds, and Pittsburgh Pirates.
