Chicago Sports Network (CHSN) and FuboTV have reached a multiyear agreement, making the channel immediately available via the sports-centric streaming service. CHSN is the local television home of the Chicago Bulls, Chicago Blackhawks, and Chicago White Sox.
CHSN, which essentially replaced NBC Sports Chicago on Oct. 1, has endured a contentious rollout.
The network has been available via cable services DIRECTV, DIRECTV Stream, U-Verse, and Astound in addition to several over-the-air channels since its launch. However, an ongoing standoff with Comcast/Xfinity, the most popular cable provider in the Chicagoland market, has elicited frustration from fans.
While FuboTV is a welcome addition to CHSN's distribution mix as the Bulls prepare to face the Milwaukee Bucks Friday in their second regular-season game, it certainly won't ease any tension on the Xfinity front.
