Cincinnati Adds 12th Commitment to 2026 Football Class in Three-Star Talent Lance Dawson

  The Bearcats football team added another trenches commit in the 2026 class on Monday. Three-star 2026 defensive tackle Lance Dawson out of Avon (Ohio) committed to Cincinnati.

According to 247Sports, Dawson is ranked 96th among defensive tackles and 34th in Ohio. The 6-5, 250-pound talent chose Cincinnati out of 10 offers from schools like Bowling Green and Miami (OH).

Dawson is Cincinnati's first defensive tackle commit of the class, which is up to 12 players and ranks inside the top 60 nationally on 247Sports.
