Cincinnati Adds 17th Commitment in 2026 Football Class From Three-Star Safety Markell Taylor

  The 2026 recruiting success continued for UC football this week by adding a 17th commitment and one of the class's highest-rated players yet. Three-star North Paulding safety Markell Taylor committed to the team on Tuesday.

According to 247Sports, Taylor is the 640th-ranked player nationally and the 52nd-best safety.

He committed to UC amidst 22 offers from schools like East Carolina and Georgia Southern. The senior is tied with Jaidon Windom for the highest rating in the class so far on 247Sports. Check out highlights from the 6-1 talent here.
