The Bearcats are in the mix for five-star 2026 talent Jaxon Richardson out of Columbus (Florida).

Richardson is down to Alabama, Cincinnati, Creighton, Louisville, Miami, Michigan, Ole Miss, Seton Hall, USC, and Villanova on his final 10-school list.

According to 247Sports, the senior forward is ranked 20th nationally and seventh among small forwards at 6-6, 200 pounds. Cincinnati was heavily involved with recruiting his guard brother Jase, who just went in the first round of the 2025 NBA Draft after one season at Michigan State.

Their dad, Jason, was a longtime NBA player and legend at MSU. Cincinnati will try to seal the deal with the higher-rated Richardson for a 2026 class that is awaiting its first commitment for UC.
