Cincinnati Nabs 14th Commitment in 2026 Class From Three-Star Defensive Tackle Darrius Simmons

  The trench's success continued for Cincinnati Bearcats football this weekend as the team secured a three-star commitment from Cairo (Georgia) defensive tackle Darrius Simmons.

According to 247Sports, Simmons is the 1,145th-best player nationally and the 118th-best defensive tackle.

He chose Cincinnati over 19 total offers from schools like Eastern Michigan and Arkansas State. UC now has 14 2026 commits and two defensive linemen.
