With the regular season in the books, now all the focus isolates on Championship Saturday as the college football postseason schedule opens up today with five major matchups on tap that will have a direct impact on how the College Football Playoff looks, in addition to many of the most prestigious New Year's Six bowl games.
Two of those conference games are in the books. Liberty took out New Mexico State to win the Conference USA title, moving the Flames to an undefeated record and a shot at a New Year's game, provided Tulane loses its game today.
Friday night saw the last-ever Pac-12 Championship Game played, and it was one to remember as Washington clinched the league title and an undefeated record, virtually ensuring the 13-0 Huskies will make the College Football Playoff when all is said and done.
