We are a month out from the 2024 NFL Draft. And the biggest pro day of the cycle occurred today at Michigan University.
The Indianapolis Colts didn't have any of their top personnel in attendance, but it has been released that they met virtually with Michigan DE Braiden McGregor.
.@UMichFootball DE Braiden McGregor: 2.0 sacks vs. Alabama in The Rose Bowl. Career best season.#Saints met w/ McGregor before today's Pro Day (3/22). Recent virtuals w/ #IND, #NYG, #NYJ, #LV, #NO.@BraidenMcgregor on @TheDraftNetwork:https://t.co/ylBc5rHCN8

McGregor spent four years at Michigan and appeared in 33 games. Last year went as well as it could have for McGregor, he set career highs in total tackles (26), tackles for loss (9.0), and sacks (4.5) and stamped the season by becoming a National Champion.
If the Colts decided to use a draft pick on McGregor in April, it would likely be late on day three. McGregor participated in this year's Senior Bowl and is a large human at 6'5", 265 lbs, and his wingspan is over 80".
Adding a national champion on day three, who many believe his best football is in front of him, could make a lot of sense for the Colts.
