This time last year Angelo Smith planted his flag that he strives to be a better player than his All-American brother. Now he's being recruited by the school his big brother helped bring a national championship to.
On Tuesday, Smith announced that he received an offer from the Ohio State Buckeyes as a three-star multi-sport athlete that plays both sides of the ball — suiting up at safety and wideout for Chaminade-Madonna High School in Hollywood, Florida.
"Woww!! Extremely blessed to earn an offer from Thee Ohio State University," Angelo posted to his X account.

Fans couldn't be happier for the young man in his mentions.
"" big bro Jeremiah replied.
"Continue the legacy bro! come home #gobucks," a user said.
"So there are some more of those there Smiths out there. A Smith in '27 and a Harrison in '28?!?! Oh my," another commented.
"Jeremiah Smith's little brother, Angelo Smith, got an offer after an impressive camp at Ohio State," Stephen Means reported.
"WIDE. RECEIVER. UNIVERSITY," another person exclaimed.
"Love to see it," another fan shared.
"Jeremiah's younger brother….I'd imagine that OSU is in the driver seat of this recruitment going forward #GoBucks."
"You know what… hell yeah!!!"
In an interview with 11W last June, Angelo talked about Jeremiah and what it would mean to potentially play at Ohio State.
"I feel like I'm gonna be a better player than him, I know that," Angelo admitted. "I play both sides of the ball. I'm definitely a game-changer. ... Watching him work, I definitely want to be better than him, I know that."
"It would just be a legacy," he said of possibly being a Buckeye. "And hopefully, if I have kids, they come here as well, so it'd be great."
