Duke forward Cooper Flagg, widely projected to be the No. 1 overall pick in next week’s NBA Draft, has arrived in Dallas for a two-day visit with the Mavericks, per Mike Curtis of The Dallas Morning News.

Flagg, just 18, has no plans to meet with any other teams. And he likely won’t need to.

“He’s very talented, can play both ends,” Mavericks coach Jason Kidd said. “He’ll be 18 — doesn’t even turn 19 until December. Having veterans like Kyrie Irving, Anthony Davis, Klay Thompson — guys that have been through it — can really help him with the process.”

Dallas landed the top pick via the lottery and appears locked in on Flagg, whose two-way upside and competitiveness have set him apart as the top talent in the class. His visit is expected to wrap up within 48 hours.
