Cowboys center Cooper Beebe takes off shirt, pumps up crowd at Dallas Stars playoff game

Right now, the city of Dallas is rallying behind the Stars during their playoff run. Tuesday night brought a critical Game 4 in the second round against the Winnipeg Jets. Dallas held a 2-1 series lead, hoping to earn another win and take control of the series.

Players from other sports even made their way to the American Airlines Center. One of them was Dallas Cowboys center Cooper Beebe, sitting in a box with a few teammates. And as if the crowd was not at a high level, Beebe brought the intensity up a few more ticks.

Beebe was shown on the Jumbotron with a jersey in his hand and waving it in the air. He was shirtless and seemingly screaming at the top of his lungs. Fans in Dallas loved the moment right before play got back underway in the second period. You can check the full scene out here.

These types of scenarios usually bring out a beer chug. However, Beebe did not have one in his general vicinity. Going absolutely crazy was a good alternative for him, with the people surrounding him in the box following the lead.

Beebe played his college ball with Kansas State and is originally from Kansas City. Given that there is no NHL team in the Kansas City area, it was safe to assume he would adopt whatever city wound up drafting him last year. Getting to cheer on the Stars has provided plenty of great playoff moments the past two seasons and Tuesday night was the latest.

More Cowboys players cheering on Dallas Stars

Turns out, Beebe was not the only offensive lineman to take in the game. Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram got a video of a handful of players in the building. Considering Beebe is still shown with his jersey on, this must have been taken early in their Jumbotron appearance.

At some point, the Stars will have another home playoff game. Which round they will be in is still unknown. Dallas could wrap up the series against Winnipeg as soon as Thursday, pending the results of Tuesday night’s game. Any win from the Jets and the American Airlines Center will host Game 6 on Saturday.

If the Stars can move on to the Western Conference finals, one of Edmonton or Las Vegas will come to Dallas at some point. Beebe will be ready to rock and roll before training camp gets underway for the Cowboys.
