Dana White has confirmed he's held talks with Gervonta 'Tank' Davis about joining Zuffa Boxing.
The UFC president told reporters Sunday night that he's spoken directly with Davis and expressed his admiration for the three-division champion, per MMA Fighting. "I do love Tank Davis. I'm actually a fan and we've talked to them," White said following Zuffa Boxing 9 in New York.
The revelation comes after Zuffa signed Shakur Stevenson to a multi-fight deal, raising the possibility of a showdown between Davis and Stevenson under the promotion's banner. White acknowledged the fight would be massive but stopped short of confirming any plans. "You can make these fights and we can only hope," he said.
Davis hasn't fought since a draw with Lamont Roach Jr. in March 2025. A scheduled bout with Jake Paul fell through amid legal troubles, though police eventually dropped all charges against the 31-year-old. White wouldn't speculate on when or if Davis might sign but maintained his focus on booking the biggest fights available.
No timeline has been set for any potential Davis announcement.
