Dedan Thomas Jr. Is Staying

UNLV star Freshman point guard Dedan Thomas Jr. has announced that he will be coming back to play for the Runnin Rebels. This is a huge boost for the team as there was questions about him leaving the after the season ended. Thomas Jr. put those rumors to rest and will be “Runnin’ it back”.

After leading the team in points (13.6) and assist (5.1) during his freshman campaign, those efforts were good enough to earn him Co-Mountain West Freshman of the Year and All-Mountain West Second Team honors. Thomas Jr. is a Las Vegas native that was a four star prospect out of Liberty High School, he is the son of former UNLV basketball legend Dedan Thomas Sr.
