Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes are in Kansas City, Missouri, in Week 13, preparing for a matchup against the Kansas Jayhawks.

Given the Jayhawks' stadium renovation, they have played most of the 2024 season at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, home of the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs.

While Sanders and the Buffaloes were at Arrowhead on Friday, ahead of the Saturday game against Kansas, Colorado's coach met with a familiar face in Kansas City.

Sanders posted a photo of his interaction with Chiefs head coach Andy Reid on social media. He mentioned that Reid was one of his heroes, sharing high praise for the Chiefs' three-time Super Bowl winner.

"1 of my Heroes, Pure Class, ANDY REID!!!!" Sanders said. "Enough Said."

Reid entered his 12th season as the head coach of the Chiefs in 2024. Since 2019, he's led Kansas City to three Super Bowl titles and four AFC championships.

The Chiefs are currently 9-1 on the season, the No. 1 team in the AFC.

While Sanders hasn't reached the level of coaching hierarchy as Reid, he's helped the Buffaloes reach the top of the Big 12 standings in 2024.

Heading into Week 13, Colorado stands as the No. 2 team in the Big 12 standings with an 8-2 record, currently riding a four-game win streak.

They're entering the matchup against the Jayhawks as a 3-point favorite, per ESPN BET
