Delicious in Dungeon is Getting a Season 2

Delicious in Dungeon tells the story of a party of adventurers who descend into a terrifying, monster-filled dungeon, with party leader Laios trying to reclaim his sister from the belly of a dragon. Strapped for cash and resources after previous runs through the dungeon, the party turns to eating monsters to survive – thanks to the help of a dwarf chef named Senshi, who’s been doing just that for decades.

The series has been a smash hit, almost consistently excellent throughout its 24-episode run so far. Only one episode felt a little bit lacking, but it bounced back the following week, and has only been getting better since.

It’s no surprise, then, that the series was renewed for a second season, and it’s a good thing too, because much of the show’s story has yet to be resolved. There’s still a twisted chimera on the loose, a mad magician wreaking havoc, and so many more creatures left to discover and eat.

When Delicious in Dungeon returns, it will likely continue on Netflix, and is expected to be animated by Studio Trigger.
