The 2025 NCAA Tournament bracket is out! That means it is prediction time as the First Four games get underway on Tuesday with North Carolina-San Diego State and St. Francis-Alabama State facing off.
After the bracket was revealed, legendary college basketball broadcaster Dick Vitale wasted no time making his predictions.
Vitale posted his bracket on X. The Final Four consisted of Houston, Florida, Duke and Michigan State, with Duke taking home the title.
With the Round of 64 beginning on Thursday, all eyes will be peeled to see which team (if any) can pull off a major upset.
Vitale picked one on his bracket. He had No. 12 Colorado State defeating No. 5 Memphis.
Colorado State is one of the hottest teams in the country entering March Madness.
The Rams won their final seven regular-season games to earn the No. 2 seed in the Mountain West Conference.
Then, Colorado State defeated Nevada, Utah State and Boise State to win the MWC tournament and get an automatic bid.
Colorado State's 25-9 record has some bad losses, including against Colorado and Washington.
So, the Rams needed to win the MWC to get a spot, and they did that.
Memphis finished with a 29-5 record and won the American Athletic Conference (AAC) tournament by defeating Wichita State, Tulane (by one point) and UAB.
Nonetheless, Vitale is rolling with the red-hot Colorado State team in the first round. If Colorado State wins, the next game will be against the winner of Maryland-Grand Canyon.
