Jayden Taylor is a 6-foot-8 guard/forward who plays for Sanford School in Hockessin, Delaware.

Over the weekend, he earned an offer from Duquesne’s first-year head coach Dru Joyce III after being recruited by assistant coach Rick McFadden. McFadden watched Taylor play in an early afternoon game on Saturday at the Philly Live event.

“He liked what he saw from me, he liked a lot of things that I did in that game,” Taylor told PSN. “He said he wants to recruit me and come to the game the next day. When I heard that, I was like, oh, that’s awesome. Now, I’ve just got to play harder with my team and lead my team to play because a bunch of coaches had eyes on us.”

He also holds offers from Albany. Delaware State. and Rider.

“The recruitment is heavy from all angles. I just feel blessed to have all these coaches hitting me up, saying they like my game.”

Taylor broke down his thoughts on Duquesne, his prior knowledge of the Dukes and Dru Joyce, and much more in this recent episode of The Pittsburgh Basketball Show.
