Cincinnati Cyclones forward Adam Robbins is heading overseas to the EIHL to join the Coventry Blaze. Robbins, 25, had one assist in four games with the Cyclones before being placed on waivers on November 15th. He is the second Cyclone to take the overseas route since the season began, joining Tristan Ashbrook.

The Alpine, NJ, native is in his second year pro after putting up nine goals and four assists for 13 points in 51 games last season with the Tahoe Knight Monsters. He was traded from Tahoe to the Adirondack Thunder at the future trade considerations deadline. Robbins was cut by the Thunder on October 10th before signing with Cincinnati three days later.

USHL and NCAA Career

Prior to going pro, Robbins spent time in the USHL and NCAA. During his time in the USHL, he played for the Chicago Steel. He had 17 goals and 41 assists for 58 points in 92 games with the Steel. Robbins also saw a small handful of games with the US Development team. He would add a goal and two assists for three points in 19 playoff games with the Steel and was part of their 2021 Clark Cup Championship team.

Once his junior career was over, he would head to the NCAA, where he spent four seasons at Princeton University. In 111 games with the Tigers, he put up 21 goals and 37 assists for 58 points. During his final season, he led the team in all offensive categories with 11 goals and 18 assists for 29 points in 30 games and was nominated for the Hobey Baker Award.
